Charleen Vincent

Charleen Vincent, age 84, of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019 at home under the care of her family and Spectrum Health Hospice. She was born on October 26, 1934, in Grand Rapids, to the late Harry & Myrtie (Wesbrook) TreDenick. Charleen graduated from Sheridan Rural Agricultural School. She worked for many years at Electrolux. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary. Charleen enjoyed going to the casino and her flower beds. Survivors include her significant other, Larry Mount; two children, Ron (Jean) Southward and Debra (Doug) Badge; grandchildren, Jasse (Jason) Akin, Nina (Bruce) Thelen, Holly (Pete) Scott, Doug (Stephanie) Badge Jr., Kevin (Brooke) Southward, Ashley (Tyler) Gregg and Jason (Cayla) Mount; many great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild; and brother, Harold TreDenick. She is preceded in death by her son, Russell Southward; granddaughter, Stacy Badge; and two great-grandchildren, Scott Michael and Charles DuWayne; and sister, Peggy Hobart. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 12:00 noon at the Lester J. Sitts VFW Post #5056, 209 Washington, Street, Sheridan.
