Charels Wooten

Charles Wooten, age 72, of Shelbyville, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, after a battle with cancer. Charles was born February 14, 1947 in Vest, KY, the son of James and Ora (Dobson) Wooten. He enjoyed riding motorcycle, and spending time with family and friends. Charles worked hard his entire life. He was a roofer, a business owner and after he retired from roofing he became a driver for a local company. Charles was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Lisa Marie (Wooten) Grigsby, His parents, Sister Stella, Brother, David, Brother, John, Sister, Nancy and Nephews, Carlos and Clifton. Charles is survived by his former wife, Theresa Wooten, Sisters and brothers:, Buddy (Judy) Wooten, Bobbie Jean (Wilburn) Moss, Clova (Claud) Charles, Lula (Dave) Mathis, Shirley Risner, Estille (Nancy) Wooten, Bessie Wooten, and many nieces and nephews. The family will have a Celebration of Life service and luncheon on Saturday, August 31st at 11:00 a.m. at the Martin United Methodist Church, located at 969 E. Allegan Street, Martin, MI 49070.
