Chad Allen Zoellner, age 34, of Greenville, formerly of Kent City, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 29, 2018. The son of Brenda Lee (Kenney) & Robert Allen Zoellner, he was born on September 29, 1984 in Grand Rapids.
Chad had worked as a carpenter in the construction trades and loved camping, hunting, bonfires, but most of all enjoyed time spent just "hanging" with friends and family.
Surviving are his parents, Brenda & Scott Corwin of Greenville, and Robert A. Zoellner of Fremont; a brother, Tyler Zoellner; two sisters, Casey Corwin-McPherson and Ashley Zoellner; grandparents, George & Sandra Kenney of Kent City and Patricia Nash of Gowen; two nieces, Breezi Corwin and Bailee McPherson; two nephews, Maddex Zoellner and Calvin McPherson; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Turk Lake United Methodist Church, 8900 W. Colby Road, Greenville, with his uncle, the Rev. Doug Corwin officiating. A luncheon will follow the ceremony and burial at Spencer Mills Cemetery will take place at a later date.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, Greenville.
