Cecil Riley

Cecil Edward Riley, 88, of Greenville, passed away Sunday morning, September 3, 2017, at Spectrum Health - United Hospital in Greenville. The son of Raymond Dennis & Nellie Riley, he was born on July 20, 1929, in Millington. In 1965 he married Irene Headley in Stanton and together they enjoyed over 50 years of marriage. Cecil retired from Federal Mogul Corporation after 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Bill Dennis, Richard Dennis, and Robert Dennis. Surviving are his wife, Irene Riley of Greenville; their son, Arthur & Barbara Headley of Flint; a grandson, Adam & Shelli Headley; two great-grandsons, Jake Headley and Ethan Headley; and two sisters, Joyce & Wayne Thomas and Fauna Dennis. A memorial gathering will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday at Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville. Burial will take place privately at Forest Home Cemetery, Greenville. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place.
