Cathleen Russ

Cathleen Sue Russ, age 70, of Lowell, passed away early Thursday morning, May 18, 2023 at her home under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The daughter of Douglas Leroy & Joyce Marlene (Faulkner) Cook, she was born on January 4, 1953 in Grand Rapids. On February 24, 1973, in Grand Rapids, she married Bruce Wayne Russ and together they enjoyed 50 years of marriage and raised three children. An avid reader, gardener, and quilter, Cathy enjoyed working the past 27 years at Georgie's Consignment Shop in Ada, but found her greatest joy in time spent with her family. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Joyce Cooper and Douglas Cook. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Bruce Russ; their children Bridget & Scott Apolinar, Brad & Katie Russ, and Shawn & Karlye Russ; her grandchildren, Cody, Brooke and Hailey; and several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
