Catherine Delgado

Catherine Josephine Delgado, age 83, gained her wings on Thursday April 16, 2020, while holding the hand of a loved one. Catherine was born in San Diego, California on April 24, 1936, the daughter of Manuel and Helen Delgado. She received her nursing degree and worked in the field for 25 plus years. Catherine was a cancer survivor. Her family meant everything to her. She had a heart of gold and a smile that would melt your heart. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents; brothers Louie and Bobby; and her grandson, James. Surviving are her five children, Micheal (Kathy), David (Helen), Wanda, Carolyn and Elizabeth (Bruce); and her sisters, Jeanne, Gerry, Olivia and Terri. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial barbecue will be held at a later date.
