Carolyn Wood

Carolyn Eileen Wood, age 73, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 23, 2016. The daughter of Ralph & Alice (Hawkey) Wood, she was born February 20, 1943 in Muskegon. Carolyn was a graduate of Fremont High School and attended both business school along with Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music. In recent years Carolyn was also a member of Bridgeton Bible Church. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; and twin sisters, Judy and Joanne. Surviving are her brother, Rev. Douglas L. (Barbara) Wood; niece, Joanne (Jeff) Wolf of CA; nephew, Jonathan (Julie) Wood of KY; great niece and nephew, Jessica and Jennifer Wolf, & Kate and Zach Wood. The family would like to thank Metro Health, Heron Manor and Holland Hospice for their care for Carolyn. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Bridgeton Cemetery in Bridgeton. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
