Caroline Ann Zeigler, age 72, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. The daughter of Norris Leonard & Marie (Kitchen) Jury, she was born on February 7, 1939 in Greenville.
Caroline had worked for Allstate Insurance in Grand Rapids and found her greatest joy in spending time with family, friends, and her faithful canine companion, Mitze.
She was preceded in death by her father, N. Leonard Jury; a brother, Duane Shotwell; and a sister, Karen Hart-Pringle.
Surviving are her mother, Marie Jury of Greenville; a daughter, Debra Lynn Townsend of Thompsonville; a son, Dan Jenner of Manistee; five grandchildren, Monique Brown of Benzonia, Brittany Townsend, Brendan Townsend, both of Thompsonville, Derek Jenner, and Amanda Jenner, both of Lowell; two great grandchildren, Natalie Brown and Thomas Brown, both of Benzonia; two brothers, Clare Shotwell and Eugene & Vickie Jury, all of Greenville; a sister, Charlene & Scott Feehan of Ohio; a brother-in-law, Tom Pringle of Greenville, and many, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Saturday from 3-4 p.m. at Greenville Community Church, 6596 S. Vining Road, Greenville, where funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m.
Pastor Joel Heron will officiate and a luncheon will follow the service. Burial will take place in the spring at Hillside Cemetery near Entrican.
Envelopes for memorial contributions to the Lemmon-Holton Cancer Pavillion at Spectrum Health will be available at the church.
