Carol Tingley

Carol Ann (Kowalczyk) Tingley, age 79, of Wyoming, Michigan, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home with family members by her side on Saturday, February 1, 2025. She was born December 7, 1945, in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late Jerome and Geneva (Abbe) Kowalczyk. She worked many years as a nurse’s aide for Angel Care Inc. before her retirement. Carol enjoyed the work she did as a nurse’s aide and loved being able to talk with her patients and their families. Carol is survived by her six children, Sheila (Cory) St. Arnold, Lisa (Robert) Demato, Matthew (Kris) Tingley, Brenda Rosa, Tracey Carnegie, and Earnest “Nicky” Dilworth; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary and Debbie. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Patti Comp. Per Carol’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Hospice of Michigan for their help and care which allowed Carol to stay at home during her final days.
