Carol Grant

Carol Elaine (Hostetler) Grant, age 79, of Grandville, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Cambridge Manor. The daughter of Perry & Thelma (Moore) Hostetler, she was born July 6, 1936 in Sturgis. Carol was a graduate from LaGrange high school, went to be a telephone operator for over 23 years where she retired and became a home health aid, and was a member of the First Church of God. She loved to travel, went to the Holy Land two different times and she was an active member in the American Legion Auxiliary, even being a past president. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Earl J. Grant; parents; and brother, David Hostetler; Surviving are her brother, Stanley Keith Hostetler; sister, Kathleen Weimer; sister-in-law, Audrey Hostetler; along with several nieces and nephews. Visitation is from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the First Church of God, 777 N. Detroit St., LaGrange, Indiana, where memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. and a luncheon will follow. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place.
