Joseph Battel Strauder (Carlito Santiago), age 36, of Grand Rapids, passed Saturday, December 19, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital. The son of Shirley Laverne Morris and Joseph Strauder Sr. he was born on December 25, 1978 in Jacksonville, FL. He attended school at Coit Creative Arts Academy in Grand Rapids, until transferring to Pennsylvania, were he graduated. Surviving are his son, Joseph (Marquis Keshawn) Strauder Jr.; three daughters, Nyasia Miller of Grand Rapids, Tyronesia (Rae Leandria) McKinzie of Grand Rapids, and Ka'Aliyana (Kamari) Strauder of Grand Rapids. parents; and step father, Robert Lee Minor; sister, Georgia Wilson; brother, Patrick Eugene Morris of Lansing; along with nieces & nephews, Giovanni Terrero, and Alicia Morris.
