Bruce Wayne Woodward, age 67, passed away peacefully surrounded by his girls on Saturday, May 18, 2019. He was born in Hart, Michigan on February 27, 1952, to the late Ervin Leon Woodward and Bonnie (Bryant) Burmeister. Bruce graduated from Hesperia High School with the class of 1970. He married the love of his life, Mary Lou Brown in 1972. They left the area for a few years, but returned home to Hesperia to finish raising their three daughters.
Bruce was a licensed jeweler and watch repairman. He was a member of the Jaycees and a Big Brother in the Big Brother Big Sister program. Bruce also was a salesman at the Buyers Guide for twenty two years. He enjoyed a variety of hobbies, some of which were music, his love for playing his guitar and many other instruments, campfires, and singing. Bruce enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, golf, two tracking, horseshoes, and long motorcycle rides. But most of all he loved spending time with his wife, family, and friends. He will forever be missed and in our hearts.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Woodward; daughters, Becky (Tom) Nadjkovic, Jodi (Russ Stapel) Romero, and Rachel (Jeremy Wilds) Woodward; 18 grandchildren, Emmaline, Baily, Masen, Lilah, Johnny, Zander, Alana, Rachel, Michael, Daniel, Hunter, Kaylee, Logan, Cash, Kolten, Ava, Curtis, and Fayth; 3 great-grandchildren, Paislee, Rowynn, and Reed; sister, Shirley (Woodward) Eitnear; and uncle, Norman (Oneta) Bryant.
