Brian Blackwell

Brian Scott Blackwell, 59, of Buchanan, MI, passed away at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at his home in Buchanan from a year long fight with lung Cancer. He was born on November 3, 1960 in Philadelphia. PA, to Charlene Castle (Blackwell) and the late James Lee Blackwell. Brian was a graduate of Buchanan High School in Buchanan, MI. He enlisted in the Air Force shortly after graduation and served our country bravely for several years. He was a loving father to 3 boys and 1 girl. Brian loved to fish and enjoyed spending time outdoors with family and friends. Brian is survived his by Mother, Charlene Luton (Todd); Sister, Julie Blackwell; Sons, Craig Blackwell, Chris Blackwell, Corey King; Daughter, Karen Blackwell; Grandchildren, Aleena Ledesma and Nalah Blackwell; and Aunt, Jeannette Blackwell. Brian was preceded in death of his Father, James Lee Blackwell; Sister, Jamie Marie Blackwell (Quinn). Due to the Corona Virus we will be postponing his memorial until later in the year of 2020.
