Bonnie Ypma

Bonnie Ypma, age 89, of Kalamazoo, passed away on Thursday, April 8th, 2021. She was born on August 1st, 1931, in Grand Rapids to Herbert and Gladys (Little) Ypma. Bonnie was a loving woman who adored her family. She loved camping and traveling with them in the summers. Bonnie also enjoyed bird watching when she wasn't spending time with her grandchildren. Bonnie is survived by her daughter Roxanne (Carl) Neff; one sister, Norma (Keith) VanPolen; four grandchildren, Amy (Chris) Ellis, Brenda Thorne, Graham Herbst and Katrin Koivu; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bob and Ray Banning and her husband, Harry Ypma Jr. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids, Michigan, 616-452-3006.
