Beverly Bywater

Beverly Jean Bywater, 83, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, August 20th, 2019 at Sparrow Hospice Facility, surrounded by family. The daughter of Robert & Waviah (Beers) DeHaven, she was born February 19, 1936 in Lansing. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her passion for reading, and her love of FaceBook. Beverly loved spending time at Lake Michigan, sitting on the beach and basking watching the spectacular sunsets. She spent her last years at Colonial Woods, where she enjoyed the sense of community and family. She cherished her extended family at Sparrow Hospital, where she worked for 21 years. Her favorite times were spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Beverly is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bywater; siblings, Don DeHaven, and Donna Cieslak. She is survived by her children, Lyle Kissee & Steve Gass, Theresa & Jim Ellsworth, Laurie Allen, Yvonne & George Bibbings, Kim Kissee, and Annette & Brian Cobb; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brother, Harold "De" DeHaven; feline companion, Boots; along with many other loving friends and family. A celebration of life will be held Monday, August 26th, 2019 at 2:00 P.M., at Grace Lutheran Church, 528 N Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Lansing, 48915.
