Betty Soule

Betty Elizabeth Soule, age 80, of Greenville, passed away early Thursday morning, October 20, 2011 under the care of Spectrum Health Hospice. The daughter of Carl Franklin & Daisy (White) Soule, she was born on January 24, 1931 in Gratiot County. After graduating high school, she began a career in a number of office positions at the former Gibson Refrigerator Company retiring after 44 1/2 years of service. Betty was an avid golfer at Holland Lake Golf Course, enjoyed the outdoors, bowling, and bird watching, and had been a long time member of The Club in Greenville. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters, Benjamin Soule, Harold Soule, Dale Soule, Hazel Greenman, and Charles Soule. Surviving are two sisters, Marian Baxter of Sheridan, and Margaret & Clark Rasmussen, Jr. of Stanton; a brother, Elmer Soule of Greenville; sisters-in-law, Rose Soule of DeWitt, Bobbi Soule of Gowen, and Carol Burns of Crystal; as well as many special nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
