Betty Mccormick

Betty Jane McCormick, 84, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016 at her home in Riverdale, MI. She was born on February 16, 1932 in Detroit the daughter of Donald and Bernice (Schaylin) Culver. She was the oldest of 11 children. Betty was united in marriage to Glenn L. McCormick on September 20, 1954 in Plymouth. Betty was active in the church for many years and truly enjoyed being a grandmother. She always remembered everyone's birthday. She was very well known in the family for her cooking and baking skills. She is survived by two sons Gary (Dixie) McCormick of Grand Marais, MI and John (Shelly) McCormick of Vestaburg, MI. Eight grandchildren Craig (Clarissa Wadle) McCormick, Jane (Andru) Noffsinger, Matthew (Chrissy), Michael and Mitchell McCormick, Lily (Matthew Kidwell) Ratatosk, Teri Norton, Keni (Jim) Schererbinski. Seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Also three sisters Joyce (Dave) Hopp, Mary Ann (Al) Myatt, Sheila (Robert) Garland and four brothers Robert Culver, James (Debbie) Culver, Richard (Edith) Culver and Larry Culver. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn McCormick, her husband of 54 years, and the love of her life, two brothers Jerry and Donald Culver and her sister Martha Mitchell.
