Betty Lewis

Betty Jean Lewis, lovingly known as "Booper", age 81, of Morley, passed away on October 7, 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. The daughter of Robert & Leslie (Frame) Tyler, she was born on January 11, 1940 in Lansing. On August 18, 1977 in Cottonwood, Arizona, she married Leon Lewis. Betty graduated from Hastings High School in 1956. She worked in adult foster care for many years. She loved her animals and enjoyed mushroom hunting, Bingo, and crocheting. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leon; and two sisters, Barb Lyttle and Bonnie Rohm. She will be forever loved and missed by her daughter, Darla Matheny; two grandchildren, James (Dawn) Matheny and Carmella Golstein; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; her sister, Brenda Cook; and a special friend, Joyi Deshano.
