Betty Carley

Betty Carley (Johnson), age 79, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021. She was born on June 18, 1941, in Pontiac to Gustaf and Irene (Green) Johnson. Betty loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to cook and host parties to bring her family together to share a meal. Betty was a traveler, who was very proud of her Swedish heritage. She also volunteered at her church and local schools. She was also an avid gardener and was always busy with arts and crafts. Above all, Betty was an incredible mother who loved her family dearly. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids, Michigan, 616-452-3006.
