Bernice Kaywood

Bernice L. Kaywood, age 85, of Buffalo Grove, IL passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Woodlawn Meadows. The daughter of John & Anna (Krupka) Grochowich, she was born November 11, 1929 in Selkirk, Manitoba. Bernice enjoyed her job as a realtor and retired after 40 years. She was loved by all and the life of the party know matter where she was at. She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Charles L. Kaywood; and brother, Walter Grochowich. Surviving are two daughters, Karen (George) Adams, and Kristine Kaywood; step-mother, Sophie Grochowich; three brothers, Steve, Stanley, and Patrick; sister, Francis; grandchildren, Jason (Dana) Adams, and Tracey (Kevin) Larsen; and seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM with a funeral mass to follow at on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
