Bernie Lepage of Stanwood Michigan formally from Madison Heights, died peacefully on Friday, August 9, 2019. He was born July 19, 1928, in Hancock, Michigan, to the late Francis and Anna (Michetti) LePage.
Bernie was an Army veteran from the occupation of Japan and was emplyed by Ring Screw Works for 38 years. He was a member of St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church (usher club) and a member of Bishop Murphy Knights of Columbus (hall rental manager). He enjoyed reading, bowling, golfing, and a weekly visit to the casino, where he retired to Canadian Lakes.
Bernie is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Janet; nine children, Bernie (Cindy), Ray, Theresa (Mike), Bill (Elizabeth), Michael, Mark (Amanda), Brian, Debbie (Jerry), and Janet; 26 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Eddie.
A celebration of Bernie's life will be celebrated on Friday, August 23, 2019, from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm, at The Elks Lodge, 2549 Elliott Dr, Troy, MI 48083.
