Beatrice Ellen Simmons

Beatrice Ellen Simmons (Gawthorp) was born March 5, 1939, and passed away July 10, 2025. She was married to the love of her life, Charles, for 38 years. Together they had 3 children, Kelly, Michele, and Aaron; they had 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Bea would start each day with a cup of coffee and a bagel. She hosted gatherings with close friends and family regularly throughout her years with card games played each time. Bea would travel often, her favorite place being Hawaii. Often throughout the day she would be found reading her murder mystery books and she enjoyed her sweet treats too.

She is now dementia free, dancing the two-step at a honky tonk with Charles for the first time in 29 years. That makes her family smile!

A celebration of Bea’s life will be held later with close family and friends.
