Barbara Rood

Barbara Jean Rood, age 69, of Greenville, passed away Thursday morning, June 16, 2022 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. The daughter of Alvin Edward & Evelyn Laurvernon (Ward) Williams, she was born on November 23, 1952, in Belding. Barb retired from Electrolux after thirty-two years. She enjoyed gardening in her flower beds and redecorating her home, but her greatest joy was her great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Tom Williams; and her daughter-in-law, Gentry M. Miller. Surviving are her son, Rocky A. Miller of Greenville; her grandchildren, Chelsy Miller of Belding, Ryley & Sierra Miller of Greenville, and Rachel Potts of Montrose; two great-grandchildren, Jaicie Maie Loper and Caiden Merritt, both of Belding; two brothers, Alvin "Bud" Williams, and George H.
