Barbara Reisner

Mrs. Barbara Kay Reisner, age 71, of Rainbow Lake, Trufant, formerly of Lansing, went home to be with her Lord Monday morning, Feb. 4, 2008. The daughter of Clyde & Edith (Benjamin) Shelden, she was born on Oct. 25, 1936 in Lansing. She graduated from Lansing Eastern High School in 1954 and worked as a legal secretary. On March 11, 1989, in Lansing, she married Paul R. Reisner. Together, they enjoyed weekends at their cottage at Rainbow Lake so much that after retiring in 1992, they made there home there. In the winters, they volunteered with the Mobile Missionary Assistance Program which enabled them to travel throughout the United States. She attended Langston Bible Church and enjoyed sewing, needlework, and handicrafts. Surviving are her husband, Paul R. Reisner; her children, Michele Rhea, James Rhea, and Beth & Glenn Jimmerson; a sister, Beverly & Kenneth VanRiper; two brothers, Richard & Donna Shelden and Bruce & Linda Shelden; four step-daughters, Tracie & Tim, Angie & Ryan Kavenaugh, Cindi Resiner, and Betsy Flambo; seven grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
