Ardis Myers

Ardis Marie Hale-Becker Myers, age 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, May 20, 2018, after almost seven years of struggling with Alzheimer's Disease. The daughter of Albert & Mary (Bisard) Hale, she was born on August 8, 1930 in Sparta. She leaves behind many memories for her devoted husband, Keith, of 36 years; her daughters, Terresa (Kris) Anderson and Geralynn (Charles) Suchecki; her sons, Anthony "Tony" Grasiewicz and Edward "John" Grasiewicz; brother, Albert "Bub"(Marilyn) Hale; grandchildren (Ethan (Stacy) Anderson, April (Wayne) Crowe, Emily Anderson, Joseph Chapman, Allyson (Dan Heath) Grasiewicz, Andrea (Patrick) Bruin, Jessica Grasiewicz, Lindsey Grasiewicz); great-grandchildren (Kris Daniel Anderson, Lillian Faith Anderson, Colin Patrick Crowe, Kyla Lynn Chapman, Kristen Rose Chapman, Riley Jordan Heath, Austin Joseph Heath, Laney Lou Bruin); and dear friends, Milt and Jean Doornbos. The family would like to thank the loving, caring staff at Emerald Meadows who treated Ardis like their own mom or grandma. A memorial visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, June 5, at the Michigan Cremation and Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Avenue, SE, in Grand Rapids, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, with an "Open Microphone" program planned at 4:00pm, for those wishing to share their memories of Ardis. Her husband, Keith, plans to start it off by telling how he and Ardis first met. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
