Antoinette Kauffman

Antoinette "Toni" Kauffman, age 80, of Green Lake, Caledonia, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015 at Metro Health Hospital, Wyoming. The daughter of late Frank & Katherine (Fitzpatrick) Patti, she was born February 25, 1934 in Farrell, Pennsylvania. Toni grew up in Pennsylvania until she moved to West Virginia to work in the steel mills and finally settled in Michigan where she raised three children. She enjoyed camping and traveling throughout the United States and Canada... but her greatest enjoyment was when family and friends came to visit her at the lake on those long summer days. There were always enough towels but never enough parking. Surviving are a daughter, Annette Snow of Kentwood; two sons, Scott (Tara) Kauffman of Perth, Western Australia, and Todd Kauffman of Green Lake; her brother, Joseph Patti of Dayton, Ohio; five grandchildren, KaeAnne (serving with the U.S. Air Force), Cody, Donavan, Jasmine and Luke; and one great-grandchild, Raidyn. A celebration of her life is at at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Green Lake Calvary Church, 608 145th Ave, Caledonia, Michigan, 49316. For a more lasting tribute to Toni, instead of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in her memory the Green Lake Calvary Benevolent fund (www.greenlakecalvary.org) that helps church families and the local community.
