Anthony Nieto

Anthony Nieto, age 38, of Grand Rapids, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017. The son of Antonio & Peggy (Pickens) Nieto, he was born on December 19, 1978 in Adrian. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Vernell Pickens, and Manuela Nieto. Surviving are his daughters, Aryanna Nieto, and Lyla Nieto; son, Kalvyn Isom; parents, Tony and Peggy; siblings, Amy (Dennis) Hassenzahl, Mario Nieto, and Nicholas (Bobbie) Nieto; grandfather, Alex Nieto Sr.; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Tony and Peggy; Anthony loved to fish, travel and spend time with his kids. He could motivate anyone and put a smile on their face. He loved to talk; he could strike up a conversation with anyone. His children were his pride and joy, he always bragged about his daughter , Aryanna excelling in her sports. He was known to his nieces and nephews as "Uncle". He will always be missed and remembered. Honoring his wishes cremation will take place.
