Anthony Marquez

Anthony "Tony" Marquez, age 13, of Grandville, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. He was born August 13, 2009, in Grand Rapids, to Vicki Gonzalez Rodriguez and Magdiel Antonio Marquez. He was in the 8th grade at Godfrey-Lee Middle School. Tony enjoyed soccer and boxing, but most of all spending time with his family, cousins, and friends. He is survived by his mother, Vicki (Alonso Lemus) Gonzalez Rodriguez; father, Magdiel Antonio Marquez; sisters, Viany Marquez (15), Ivy Lemus (8), Selena Lemus (6), and a baby sister that will arrive any day. Visitation will be Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Avenue S.E. at 36th Street (one block west of Eastern Avenue), Grand Rapids, with the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place Monday, April 3, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. at Resurrection Cemetery, 4100 Clyde Park Avenue SW, Wyoming, MI 49509.
