Anthony George Grabinski, age 62, of Langston, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at home following several years of poor health. The son of James Vincent & Jacqueline Joan (Marks) Grabinski, he was born on April 12, 1959 in Westland, Michigan. Tony enlisted in the United States Army and served in Germany during the Cold War era. He worked as a press operator at the former Tower Automotive plant in Greenville for nearly 20 years, loved riding his Harley-Davidson, as well as restoring and repairing motorcycles, and had a strong love of 'old-time' rock 'n roll. On January 17, 1993, in Greenville, he married LaRita Kay Kimmel. He was an avid fan of Detroit Red Wings hockey and also enjoyed hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Rita Grabinski; three sons, Jason Grabinski, Brett Grabinski, and Brandon & Lacey Grabinski; two step-daughters, Mandy Jeffrey, and Melanie & Mark Bolton; a brother, Jimmy Grabinski; twelve grandchildren; and his very special four-legged companion, Layla. Honoring his wishes, no services will be held and burial will take place privately at Fort Custer National Cemetery near Battle Creek.
