Greenville

Anne Louise Angers, age 58, of Greenville, Michigan, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026 at her home following a courageous battle with pharyngeal cancer. The daughter of Dale Bradlee Gibbs & Patricia Louise Jarvis, she was born on March 25, 1967 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

After graduating high school, she married Timothy John Angers on August 8, 1986 in Grand Rapids and together they enjoyed nearly 40 years of marriage and raised four children. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Anne also worked outside the home as a paraprofessional with Greenville Public Schools and had been a member of the Ray I. Booth American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Although Anne was avid Detroit Lions and Michigan State Spartans fan, she found her greatest joy in spending time at the cottage at Port Sheldon with family and friends, coaching her kids sports teams, and was the biggest cheerleader in the stands for her children and grandkids. Anne also enjoyed celebrating her Irish heritage, especially on St. Patrick’s Day.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law, James E. Angers; and two brothers-in-law, Jimmy Angers and Jim Doyle.

Surviving are her husband, Tim Angers of Greenville; their children, Meagan & Ben Conrad, Autumn Angers, T.J. & Allyssa Angers, and Jakob Angers & Kaitlyn Ruid; ten grandchildren, Hunter Conrad, Hayley Conrad, Lewis Bean, Lydia Bean, Fisher Angers, Gwen Angers, Emmitt Angers, Jaxon Geiger, Mila Angers, and Lainey Angers; two brothers, Dale Gibbs, and Scott & Caroline Gibbs; three nieces and a nephew, Alex Gibbs, Christina Gibbs, Sarah Gibbs, and Joey Gibbs; her mother-in-law, Francene Angers; three siblings-in-law, Cheri Doyle, Michelle Angers, and Jeannine Angers & Bob Roelse; her faithful companions, Kilo and Buzz; and many other dearly loved relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends will celebrate Anne’s life from 1-3 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at the Ray I. Booth American Legion Post No. 101, 1320 W. Washington Street (M-57), Greenville.
