Anna Belle Williams, age 94, of Greenville, passed away Thursday evening, December 1, 2022 at Mission Point of Greenville. The daughter of Herbert & Ida Pearl (Newman) Broomfield, she was born on August 5, 1928 in Greenville.
On Valentines Day, Feb. 14, 1948, in Greenville, she married Robert L. Williams and together they raised three children and enjoyed 62 years of marriage until he passed away on May 9, 2010.
Anna Belle was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and delighted in hosting Sunday dinners for her family. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her trips to the casino.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, David Robert Williams; her parents, Herbert & Ida Pearl Broomfield; her husband, Robert L. Williams; three brothers, Ray Broomfield, Harry Broomfield, and Bob Broomfield; and two infant great-grandchildren, Blake LaSarge and Angelica Williams.
Surviving are her children, Steven & Rose Williams of Greenville, Dennis & Judy Williams of Cedar Springs, and Lois & Dan Kinyon of Greenville; two sisters-in-law, Kate Broomfield, and Pam Broomfield, both of Greenville; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside committal services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Saranac Cemetery with Pastor Melissa Wagner of the Turk Lake and Belding United Methodist Churches officiating. Instead of flowers, Anna Belle would have appreciated contributions in her memory to Spectrum Health Hospice.
