Anita Hill

Forever In Peace Anita C Hill, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 30, 2020. Anita was a graduate of Aquinas College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree. She was a retiree of the Grand Rapids Public School's Transportation Department. Anita was also a proud member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She also held numerous awards, and accolades which included membership in the Grand Rapids Education Association (GREA), and the Michigan Education Association (MEA). Anita was preceded in death by her mother, Loretta J. Harris, and her father, Bruce Davis. She leaves behind her only child, Laurel "Candice" Proctor, and her only brother, Dennis J. Davis (Cynthia), of Peoria, Illinois and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and many treasured friends. Anita, being a good steward, donated her body to the Michigan State University's Willed Body Program for research and science. There will be no additional services.
