Anita Eagan

Anita Marie Eagan, age 66, of Wyoming, died Wednesday evening, March 4, 2009 at Metro Health Hospital. The daughter of Mary Jean Nellist and Donald Murphy, she was born on March 12, 1942 in Grand Rapids. A devoted mother and grandmother, Anita was also an avid reader. Surviving are her children, Russell (Theanae) Boersma, Robin (Michele) Boersma, Ronda (Keith) Tyler, Amy Harmon, and Jodi (Scott McConnon) Wyatt; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters, Donna (Russell) Rozman, Audie Chavez, and Nancy (Vance) Kidd; a brother, Donald (Lori) Murphy, and many other relatives and friends. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Anita's life from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at the Bloomfield Townhomes Clubhouse, 1695 Bloomfield Drive, S.E., Kentwood. In death Anita gave the gift of life by being an organ and tissue donor. Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Gift of Life Foundation.
