Angelina Clark

Angelina (Assfy) Clark, age 52, of Grand Rapids, departed this life peacefully on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Blodgett Hospital. She was born May 12, 1970 to Hammed & Ida (McMichael) Assfy of Grand Rapids. Angelina worked at Presort Mailing Service during her Junior & Senior years of High School. She worked 27 years at the Grand Rapids Press until retiring after having a stroke on December 31, 2017. She was the mother to four children and one miscarriage, who she is walking with now in Heaven. Angelina was united in Holy Matrimony to Freddie Clark Sr., to this union, three children were born. She is preceded in death by her father, Hammed. Angelina leaves to celebrate her life, two daughters, Myiesha Clark and Amber Clark; two sons, Anthony Assfy & Freddie Clark Jr., mother, Ida (McMichael) Assfy; sister, Amira Assfy; brother, Sharif Assfy; seven aunts; five uncles, cousins and many other family members. Angelina and her sister, Amira, had many fun times together. Amira could make her laugh like no other. Amira and our hearts are truly broken and will miss her deeply. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Avenue SE, Grand Rapids. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm.
