Angela Louise Quinlan, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born on May 10, 1948 and adopted by Mildred and Gerald Smith, Angela was a strong woman who endured many challenges in her life. She lived with resilience and dedication to raising a strong family with good values, leaving a lasting impact on those around her.
On June 27, 1975, Angela married her husband, Jerry Quinlan, and together they raised a family grounded in integrity and strong principles. She was the mother of four children—Thomas (Denise) Quinlan, Kari Wilk, Joseph (Tracy) Quinlan, and Kathi (Matthew) Uphaus—and found great joy in her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cherishing the time she spent with them and creating lasting memories.
Guided by her Christian faith, Angela dedicated much of her career to working with special needs individuals, bringing patience and care to her work. She had a heart for helping anyone in need, always giving whatever she could to support others, which reflected her selfless and steadfast spirit. Angela also had a creative side, particularly enjoying ceramics and crocheting, and loved sharing her handmade creations with her family. She explored her entrepreneurial spirit through a few small business ventures, showcasing her creativity and drive.
Angela is survived by her husband, children, their spouses, extended family, and her brother, Michael Smith. Her generosity and strength touched many lives, and her absence will be deeply felt.
A celebration of Angela’s life will be held at a later date. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
