Andy Devrou, beloved husband, craftsman, and friend, passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 63. Born on March 11, 1961. Andy lived a life full of passion, kindness, and an unmistakable zest for the simple joys of life. Andy had an enduring love for his vintage 1927 Graham Brothers Truck, often dressing in period attire to match the 1920's era during reenactments with his friends through the Graham Owners Club. His appreciation for history and craftsmanship reflected his own timeless spirit. Whether tending to his greenhouse and gardens, working on a farm, or caring for animals, especially cows and dogs, Andy found profound happiness in the natural world and its rhythm. A man deeply devoted to his wife, Nikki, Andy made it a point to always put her first, ensuring everyone knew the depth of his love and admiration for her. Their bond was a testament to the power of true partnership and mutual respect. Andy’s hands were rarely still; he loved to build and create, often crafting pieces that captured the sun’s light, bringing warmth and beauty to his home and family. His work was not just functional but infused with his unique energy and positivity. Known for his ever-present smile and magnetic old soul, Andy radiated joy and good energy. He was in tune with his higher self, seeking out people, places, and experiences that aligned with his inner peace and brought happiness to those around him. Respected and loved by all who knew him, Andy was a beacon of light and warmth in the lives he touched. Though he had no children, Andy’s legacy lives on through the countless lives he enriched with his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love. He leaves behind his cherished wife Nikki, a host of friends, and a community that will forever remember him as a man of great character and heart. Andy DeVrou was predeceased by his father Raymond DeVrou; and survived by his wife Nikki DeVrou and mother, Margaret DeVrou with 3 older brothers James & Linda DeVrou, Gordon & Judy DeVrou and Philip & Lizbeth DeVrou. 1 younger sister Valerie & Max Carroll. Along with many nieces and nephews. Andy’s life will be celebrated at Historic Bowen's Mills, 55 North Briggs Rd., Middleville, MI 49333 on April 13, 2025 from 1pm to 5pm. Those wishing to honor his memory are encouraged to carry forward his spirit by seeking joy, embracing nature, and spreading kindness."
