Andries Steketee

Andries Derk Steketee, age 74, of Norton Shores, passed peacefully away on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at home surrounded by loving family and friends. The son of Andries Richard & Emma Jane (Ross) Steketee he was born on March 29, 1942 in Holland. Andries graduated from Holland High School, and then joined the Marines. After his service to his country, he held a variety of positions, mostly in sales. He was active in the Rolling Thunder Michigan Chapter 4, and the Holland Windmill Barbershop Chorus for many years. Andries Surviving are his special friend & partner Rose Pearson; sister, Mary Ellen (David) Fischer; daughter, JoLee Hanson; son, Andries Edgar (Buzzy) Steketee; two granddaughters, Daynah Lente and Jackie Williams; and three great grandchildren. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care.
