Amanda Sue Keller-Rainey, age 32, of Fenwick, went home to be with her Lord on Friday evening, March 9, 2007 from Sheridan Community Hospital after a three year battle with breast cancer. The daughter of Pearl Ann Sue (Frye) & Ronnie Wayne Keller, Sr., she was born on May 23, 1974 in Flint. Her family then moved to West Virginia, returning to Flint in 1985. Amanda was a 1992 graduate of Flint Central High School, and had worked for the City Sewer Company for eight years as a secretary-dispatcher. She moved to Fenwick in 2004. Amandas greatest joy was being a Mom. She will be sadly missed and thought of everyday. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Keller Sr.; two grandfathers, James Keller and Oliver Frye; and grandmother, Nellie Frye. Surviving are her beloved husband, Chad Rainey; their three children and the loves of Amandas life, Corbin (age 10), Cameron (age 8), and Casey (age 7) Rainey, all of Fenwick; her mother, Sue Keller; a sister, Michelle Frye & Joe Shattuck; two brothers, Lucas Keller & Shannon Murphy, and Ronnie Keller Jr., all of Flint; mother-in-law, Debra & Eric Smith of Owosso; a sister-in-law, Samantha Cowles of Owosso; a niece, Cassondra; two nephews, Noah and Lucas Jr.; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The family wishes to extend their special thanks to Pastor Tom Hansen and Amandas church family at Greenville Community Church; JoAnn from Hospice; and Amandas special friend, Kathy. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Greenville Community Church, 6596 S. Vining Road, Greenville, with Pastor Tom Hansen officiating. Burial will follow privately at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation is on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of services at the church. Instead of flowers, relatives and friends are asked to consider the needs of the family. Envelopes for contributions will be available at the church.
