Alton E. Sherman, age 79, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2013 at Spectrum Health Nursing and Rehabilitation.
The son of Arthur & Lucille (Brandon) Sherman, he was born on May 25, 1934 in Memphis, Tennessee.
Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
