Alphonzo Carr

Mr. Alphonzo Carr, age 67, of Grand Rapids, passed away Monday morning, July 3, 2006 at St. Marys Health Care, Grand Rapids. Born on Nov. 25, 1938 in Wayne, North Carolina, Alphonzo was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Funeral services are at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2006 from the chapel of the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans, 3000 Monroe Ave. N.E., with visitation one hour prior. The Rev. Father Michael Danner will officiate, with military honors being rendered by the Kent County Veterans Honor Guard. Interment will follow privately at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans Cemetery.
