Allan Spangenberg

Allan Spangenberg, age 54, of Grand Rapids, passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital. The son of Allan Spangenberg and Joann Palmer, he was born on August 3, 1962 in Grand Rapids. Allan worked in the lab at Pridgeon & Clay. He enjoyed riding on his motorcycle, and spending quality time with family and friends. Allan was preceded in death by his father, Allan Spangenberg; and step-father, Richard Palmer. Surviving are his wife, Pamela Spangenberg; son, John (Stacey) Molt; mother, Joann Palmer; two siblings, Dawn & Robin Hoffman, and Dana (Rhonda) Spangenberg; two grandsons, Cody Lockery and Jacob Molt; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Ave. S.E. at 36th St. (one block west of Eastern Ave.) Grand Rapids, where funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
