Alicia Jean (Clark) Bush, age 53, of Freeport, Michigan, passed away surrounded by the love of her family after a long battle with breast cancer on Sunday, October 17, 2021. She was born November 6, 1967, in Portsmouth, Virginia, to Philip and Joan (Williams) Clark. Alicia graduated from Wyoming Park High School with the class of 1986.
She enjoyed fishing, karaoke, sitting around a campfire with family and friends, cooking, gardening, animals, and crocheting. Alicia was known to crochet items for family and friends around the holidays and also make hats for other cancer patients. She had a servant's heart and a giving soul, she was always helping and thinking of others first.
Survivors include her life partner, Dan Richards; children, Sarah (fiance, David Cook) Wilcox, Elizabeth Hill, and Noah Bush; grandson, Harvey Wilcox; mother, Joan (Roger) Urbanski; brother, Bradley Clark; sister, Rebecca (Michael) Wilson; special friend, Todd Hill; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Alicia was preceded in death by her father, Philip along with Sarah and Noah's father, Mark Bush.
A going away party will be celebrated on Monday, October 25, 2021, at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Avenue S.E., Grand Rapids, MI, 49548, with gathering of family and friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and a memorial service beginning at 11:00 a.m. with a light lunch to follow.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods for the wonderful care and support they showed her and them through this difficult time.
As Alicia's way to continue gifting and helping others, she chose to donate her body to Michigan State University.
