Alice Roberts

Alice Marie Roberts, age 96, of Fenwick, passed away Tuesday evening, May 31, 2022. The daughter of Edward A.A. & Minnie Myrtle (Hill) Buchholz, she was born on February 12, 1926 in Greenville and was a graduate of Sheridan Agricultural High School. Tuesday evening On October 19, 1951 she married Stuart H. Roberts and together they raised four children and enjoyed 46 years of marriage until Stu passed away on April 26, 1997. Alice was a long-time member of Beth Haven Baptist Church, and enjoyed collecting stamps and helping others. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stu Roberts; a son, Stuart Dale Roberts; a daughter, Eunice Shinabargar; her brother, Howard Buchholz; and great-grandson, Jayson Beckley. Surviving are two sons, Paul & Pamela Roberts of Edmore, and George A. Roberts of Greenville; eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Donna Jean Thiedman, Marilyn Webster, Patricia Bissell, and Marie Bode; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation is from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Beth Haven Baptist Church, 1158 W. Carson City Road (M-57), Sheridan, where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Rev. Kevin Crowell, pastor of Beth Haven Baptist Church, will officiate and burial will follow at Fairplains Township Cemetery. from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2022 1158 W.
