Romero, Alexsandra (Sandy) went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 27, 2026

Sandy was born on May 18, 1941, to Marion and Russell Hall she attended Catholic Central. Growing up she was a Ballerina and always loved to dance. She was employed by Thierica, before becoming a stay-at-home Mother. Later she worked as an ESL teacher for Wyoming Public Schools and retired from there. While there she had many students from many countries that she became a mother to many of whom lived with her. She was always willing to help someone in need. She also never met an animal she did not help wild or tame. From taking in our pets when we couldn’t keep them to feeding the Deer, skunks, turkey’s, birds and all the other creatures that would come to the yard. Sandy was a very loved lady by all. She will be lovingly remembered by: Michelle (Todd) Working, Suzanne (Artie) Mazzone, Elizabeth (Jim) Farr, Eric (Brenda) Johnson. Adopted family Carlos (Lisa) Ochoa and Rich Gilman, Kent Benson, Fred Stankus. Grandchildren: Anthony, Alex, Andrew, Madelyn, Ryan, Christian, Matthieu, Jacob, Jonathon, Jackson, Stacy, and Wesley, and 10 great grandchildren, Brother Dennis (Judy) Hall and many nieces and nephews. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers

We will be having a mass at 10 am Saturday, August 1st, 2026 at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew, 215 Sheldon Blvd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. There will be a celebration of life after from 12-3 pm at American Legion Post 179, Neal E Fonger – 2327 Wilson Ave SW, Grand Rapids MI 49534
