June 21, 1962 — December 9, 2015

Albert Dale Johnson, age 53, of Oakfield Township, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The son of Karen (Williams) Lark and Oliver Johnson, he was born on June 21, 1962 in Trenton, Missouri. A skilled craftsman, Albert spent most of his working years in the construction trades and enjoyed building and welding. He loved riding his motorcycle and four-wheelers, was a member of the Para-Dice Motorcycle Club, was a talented artist, and delighted in time spent with his family and friends... either helping them out with home repair and building projects or just sharing time together. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are two daughters, Staci L. Johnson-Miller, and her husband, James Miller, of Greenville, and Heather Lynn Johnson of Grand Rapids; three grandchildren, Braxton Miller, Lexi Miller, and Rihanna Shalynn Johnson, all at home; eight brothers and sisters, John & Roxanne Johnson, Olie & Michelle Johnson, Tom Johnson, all of Greenville, Lizabeth Johnson, Rosemary Johnson, both of Grand Rapids, Dennise A. & Don Roesly of Florida, Dawn Johnson of Lansing, and Danny Gochenour of Rockford; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Albert's life from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Trufant Community Center(corner of 2nd and "C" streets), downtown Trufant.
